my Gen II 380 has the Parrot Bluetooth incar system. Up till now I've had no problems with my iPhone 3G and hands free. Since upgrading to OS 3.0 on my iPhone I'm getting problems where when someone calls me I can't hear them anymore till I select the parrot system on the iPhone from the audio speaker choices.

If I remove the pairing and re pair it again it will work once then fail the next time. Someone on the MacForums iPhone forum suggested that it probably needs a firmware upgrade to the Parrot system. How on earth do you go about that? Anyone got any ideas?

Not sure about how to upgrade the parrot system but have you tried turning your phone on and off (may seem obvious)

Failing that, it might be worth restoring your iphone. (Go to itunes.... do a restore which wipes the iphone completely, then when you plug it back in click 'restore from backup' and it will be back to how it was)

I would say iPhone problem, try another phone before you do something to the iPhone system.

i think i already have the latest firmware. I'm guessing the parrot version i have means it's a CK3000 parrot. In which case VM3.18 is the latest. It's quite an old system and that may be the problem. One thing I'm going to try is actually turning on the iPhone (Home button on) before turning on the ignition. Failing that installing a newer H/F system may be the only solution. Wiping and restoring my iPhone won't make any difference.

My 380 Parrot kit is running VM3.2 which is later than 3.18.

Interesting. I wonder how you get the update? The link someone gave me above only shows 3.18 and that's a UK site. Love your ride. Looks awesome. I've done nothing to mine but still love the car.
