a/ Do they really need it?

b/ I'd guess vacuum hose is pretty much vacuum hose - might be best-off buying a roll and cutting it to length as you go.

c/ Are you considering changing the connector fittings as well? If hose is suspect, some of those plastic bits may also be brittle (I'm just thinking about Qld heat).

yes they do as most of them are cracked and so on.. what i meant by size is the diameter?

How hard would it be to cut 1cm off, take it into supercheap and match it up
not that hard

AFAIK Vacuum hose from series to series, from magna to falcon to commodore is all pretty-much same stuff.

Any shop selling the stuff from the roll will easily tell you if they have a variety of sizes, but I suspect that vacuum hose is all same regardless of brand.

Do you have any ideas of who you'll be buying off, esp for "connectors" - are you going for Mitsi Spares or trying to get alternatives? Buying a roll of hose from wholesaler or "bulk" place (engineering suppliers etc) would be better price I'd expect.

Probably 4mm or 3/16". Been a pita getting 'T' barbed fittings in 4mm for my SC install. I've bought everyone in the Hunter Valley. Didn't help when I broke one :doubt:
