Im trying to de-pin my 3-row connector for the drivers door loom so I can re-pin it into a 2 row connector, but its taking aggess! Im using a sewing needle and I am managing to get 1 pin out every 20 mins or so.... but I have around 20 pins to de-pin still!! There must be an easier way?!
EDIT: GOT EM OUT!!! I got angry and just ripped em out :P seemed to work! :D All of the pins are out and intact! I dont think the connector is re-usable anymore, but I didnt need it anyway!
Would still be good to know if there was an easier way though. If I put the pins in the wrong hole on the good connector, I wont be able to just rip them out....

I've been de pinning my tail light connectors, and the best way is to push up the bit of plastic that locks the pin in. Push it all way to the top and pull wire out backwards at the same time. I don't know if the connectors on the doors are similar though ? See the pic where I've drawn the black arrow. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately the plug I have is actually a larger version of the plug that your one plugs into. It has the holes instead of those long pins. They seem to be a little harder than that one looks to depin as the holes are much smaller, but im think they probably work the same way. Cheers mate
I really hope I dont make a mistake and put the wrong pin in the wrong hole on my new connector coz they are such a bastard to get out!!

straighten out a spring and grind the end to a sharp point.... or use a needle
push the terminal into the connector while lifting the tab then pull out
tis my lil tradies secret
nb: some terminal blocks also have a locking mechanism at the back/side
