hey guys
just a quick noob question but wheres the rear jacking point on a 3rd gen sedan?
i thought it was the spot under the tyre well (little round part that sits lower) but my mate said that if i was to jack up the car from there it would twist the frame or put stress on something i cant remember
he said the best spot was to jack it up from the rear drive bar (big metal bar between the two wheel, forgot what its called )
so i was just wondering where the jacking point is
thanks rob

Read the manual?
It's in front of the rear tyres, a mirror of where you jack up the front tyres. You don't jack up an axle at one end...

I always thought it was that lower point on the spare wheel area.
I always thought you do not jack up any part of the rear suspenson/crossmember/diff(AWD). That is when you bend stuff.

Looks to me like we are right jacking it on the low part of the tyre well.
Just don't jack on any other part of the body in the middle or the AWD rear diff.
