has any one encountered the problem and how do you rectify it

I got mine from being a idiot and driving through the biggest puddle I could find

I have removed the cap to allow moisture to escape but is there any thing else that will speed up the process

Remove the cap and park it in the sun. Thats is all you can do without pulling it out.

Yeah that happened to mine, but only once. I just left the fog lights on for ~15 mins... when I came back the condensation was gone. Lucky, as my next option would have been to pull something apart. It never happened again.

Leave it in the sun or with the lights on with the cap off, then let it cool down before refitting the cap. Otherwise youll lock hot humid air in there and it will condense as it cools once more. Hair dryer would work too, but in the end you want cold dry air in there before replacing the cap.

Ther may be a better way, but this will help.
