What im planing is TS magna with evo 6 motor! i reckon it would be good! what do u guys think?

I reckon you should buy the Evo back and put an Astron from a 2nd Gen into it. As far as i know no one has done this yet. Would be rare as hell.

Top idea chap, that would be a horsepower monster... That fantastic open front diff... Hopefully you'll be putting an auto on it to help with driveability.

What's the Magna weigh compared to the Evo ? 300kg more ?
The turbo motor wouldn't have much torque available when off boost, so getting a heavier car moving might be fun.
Once it going should be relatively OK, but I don't think it would be very well balanced on the road.

TS magnas are about 1400kg, evo 6 is the same or slightly lighter

I say go for it mate, TS magnas are way better than evo's to start with so that combined with an evo engine would be insanely awesome. Huge step forward in my opinion. You are very smart.

Absolutely correct. Personally what I would do tho, is remove the turbo and have a NA 4G63. It'll help with fuel consumption.

Good point, it would actually be faster aswell cause there would be no turbo lag

Dont they have that TS magna shape in GSR already? I known I have seen a few stock Magna TS GSRs. Loaded with 2L Turbo

if you're gonna put an evo engine in anything, put it in a proton or a mirage. I've seen protons with Evo 4's, they're insane. There's also a proton in vic that's pulling 290kw at the wheels... and it weighs around 800kg, you do the math :P

Ahh, see my TJ AWD weighs something like 1640kg, hence why I thought there would be a big weight difference.

In that case, if they are similar weight and you're swapping AWD into FWD, then it would have to be a potent combination.
Would it be better than a 3.5L V6? probably, especially if it was tuned up with a boost increase etc etc.

It's sounding like fun to me.
