Depends on how many klms it has done since last service, may just need fluid change, best check with an auto tranny place 1st.

What model variant is it?
The reason I ask is that it may have something to do with your driving patterns. I know in the Veradas that the transmission learns your driving style (i.e. whether you are heavy footed, easy etc) and according to this selects the most appropriate shift pattern from its programmed memory. Therefore it may think that at 80 you are going to accelerate hard again and therefore hold the revs in preparation. Although this doesn't explain why it wont kick down.
Firstly check the fluid level yourself and if that's fine try a couple of different driving styles each time you start and drive the car. If nothing changes then go see a transmission specialist.
