Hey guys, i got a second hand remote for my car, as mine was shot. ive searched and tried the process to get the car to go into the learning mode (of to on 3 times, indicators should flash) but it doesnt work, tried five times, ten times etc and no joy. is there a different process for the KE veradas?? its the standard OMRON alarm/immobiliser, and the remote is the one with 3 buttons, boot, lock and unlock. cheers guys i know its common question but i need the help.

Hmm are you sure its the right remote? My car only has a single button remote. Then again I think the Xi had the boot release and so fourth on the remote. Tried consulting your manual?

I thought it was ACC to ON 3 times?
Or is that what you meant?

You need to do it quickly. That's all that helped me when I did it.

Welcome to the club!! ok ill keep at it, ill try the acc to on, i was going from off to on. yeah its the right remote, identical. i have the boot release and gas on the door trim. does it matter what one i push when the indicators flash? boot, unlock or lock?

no. tried it for ages, it doesnt work, fast or slow, wont go into learning mode. is there any other way to do it? i havent got the owners manual only workshop and that has nothing.
