nah, the cage comes out when it's on the road. it's only for track days.

Sounds like a lot of work for a track day. Looks the goods but :)

Thought about buying a TE/TF and building a dedicated track car?

Stock ignition system should cope fine until the car is doing like 10's, shouldnt require more spark until then.

Ohhh heellll yeah!! If only you were in WA, this is exactly what I want to do to my car expect I want to register it as a 2 seater with harnesses too!

harness + seat are next.

ecu sent off today to be tuned for the 470cc/min injectors (which tested at 380cc/min @ 40psi).

another new sump ordered to re-run the oil return line from the blower. the dodgy setup was leaking oil into the middle of the V under high RPM, not to mention pissing oil into the intake!!

hope to have it all back together and running by Sunday.

I think you've got some carpet to take out :P

the track car idea has sprung up a few times over the last 12 months or so. just need to pick up a cheapish daily driver and then I can take this car off the road for good. or maybe that'll lead to a divorce?

my missus said that she would devorce me if i end up with any more cars, i now have 3 more then when she said that, and all of them came with me to our new house ahahaha, as long as your paying her way she'll never force ya out haha
