OMG I love the GTV interior...mmmm

Especially the centre console as pictured bellow
http://us1.webpublications.com.au/static/images/articles/i17/1781_6lo.jpg

And the rear seats with adjustable head-rests.

Although i'm not so keen on woodgrain, I wonder how much it would be for the GTV centre console & rear seat back...hmmmm $$$$

The GTV centre console is rather flimsy and does not include the top air vents, the stay black! I believe SSV have the full woodgrain kit for the 3rd Gen Magna's, Including the air vents on the sides.. both Drivers and Passengers sides. Worth taking a look at!

I just want the lid for the drink holders and that nav system-screen where the ashtray & cig-lighter used to be...

To be honest I hate that cheap woodgrain look!

Genuine Mitsubishi "woodgrain" three piece centre console is over $900.00. I want one too, but not at that price.

My KS v6xi has adjustable rear seat head-rests and so do the 3rd gen altera, ei and xi. My
front ones are even tilt adjustable. Thing with sat nav is that most Australian cities do not
fully support it but its getting there.

My mission in that case, to find an TJ Altera with grey interior and steel the seats!

I'll need all 4 so that the trim will match I spose cos I can't be assed having them retrimed.

Wonder what the price would be on a set from the wreckers. (Hate to think of the price mitsu would charge for them new!)

wank factor I guess and to help add to the comfy cinema feel for those in the rear when I have my dvd & screens installed later in life etc.

I had one on my trip to Brisbane, a bright yellow Verada GTV 2003 model. Nice car, but didn't feel as fast as my VRX. Maybe cause it was a rental car and people thrashed it.

Leather seats are soo nice. Sat Nav was good but screen was too small and too low, made it look cheap :(

Akko funny you should mention this, my uncle owns a GTV and is looking at selling his sat nav as he never uses it and the controller is a pain for him.

Could be a good deal, if i don't snap it up myself that is :P

The GTV is slower than the vrx because its heavier. Just look at the time differences between
the Sports and the VRX where the VRX is only slightly heavier than the Sports.

The GTV is all about pimpin.. not about speed.. Its about how many chics you pull! Not about how many hoes.. I mean horses you pull!

Is that the genuine mitsu factory sat nav (same as pic above) or some aftermarket job?

your mission will fail: there was no Altera model in the TJ series...only Exec, Advance, Sports and VR-X plus Verada Ei, Xi, GTV, GTVi

Substitute any third-gen for TJ then. I'm sure there ain't that much difference if any to the rear seats between the third-gens!

Dont forget the SOLARA was also released in the TJ range....

If the TL is regarded as 3rd gen and a half, the rear seats in the TL are set back into the rear cushion about 70mm, to give rear seat occupants the feeling they have more leg room, than a TE - TJ. Real 'bucket' effect. Have a look at a TL. :)
