To all you clued up engine kids...is there any similarities between a forrester xt engine and a vrx engine? The reason iam curious is because iam contemplating getting a xforce varex muffler(not the cannon, just wouldnt look good) and after doing some reasearch found they sound frggin sweet, unlike any other muffler ive heard! BUT the catch is all the sounds are from a forrester..so would it even sound remotely similar on the gtv(vrx engine) or am i comparing apples to oranges?

I think apples and oranges , considering the forrester has the boxer engine. although id say if it sounds good, it will on your car too, due to been a quality exhaust.

Yup, the boxer engine makes a fair difference to exhaust note.

If I recall correctly, Chisholm bought one, he said it sounded decent but was a bit raspier than his old Magnaflow.

Apricot Rocket has a X-force on his GTV. give him a buzz. Im plannin on gettin a X-force too, my back muffler has had it.

My Varex sounds sick on my 6G74 with high flow cat... have had it on my car for about 10 months now, love it.

I don't think Apricot's is the Varex..... just an X-Force sport/straight through muffler kind of thing.

Sounds freaking awesome though!
