Guys. I am at a loss and running out of time.
Can any of you give me the wiring specifics and details to get cruise to work with a manual gear box.
I have the clutch switch in.
Overdrive switch wiring has been bridged.
We get Cruise main power on the switch but it wont activate.
What am I missing?
Once agin your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Your not the only one asking this question mate, I'm in the same boat pretty much.
Mine's a TR Elite that I converted to manual, and I haven't really bothered with the cruise control yes, cos I don't know how to do it.
I took the brake pedal switch out of the donor car and put that into my clutch pedal, but it's not wired in yet.
Does anyone know how to go about this? Or can at least shed some light on the topic?

Have you checked out the wiring diagrams at the back of the Mitsu manuals?

Hi All,
I have successfully managed to do this on dr1309's magna.
As soon as I can get access to his car again I will give you the full details on how to do it.
Keep you posted.

Hi All,
As promised earlier, here is how I managed to get dr1309's cruise fully functional.
For this to work, you must still have the transmission computer still connected in the car.
OK, so here goes.
Start at the old wiring plug for the auto.
By now you all would have bridged the inhibitor switch and connected the reverse lights.
(It was a late night after a VERY busy weekend getting the car ready for blue slip, so please bear with my memory!)
At the same plug as the inhibitor switch, looking at the connector from the auto side, bridge the following pins:
(The top row will have three pins and the bottom row will have four pins, with a row of four in the middle.)
Bridge the middle pin at the top and the second in from the left.
(Leave the the inhibitor part of the switch alone, no need to touch this.)
(The "D" light should now show on the dash at all times that the ignition is on.)
Under the bonnet section is now finished.
Next move to under the dash at the pedals.
I fitted the old brake light switch from the wriiten off vehicle to the clutch pedal.
(Be aware that there are two completely different circuits on the brake light switch, so, for correct orientation of the switch, interpret as the side for the connector clip is at the top.)
Above the pedal area on the left near the centre console is a wiring harness.
There should be a connector (2 pinned)(white in this car) with two black wires connected on one side of the connector but not the other and a Black/Yellow striped wire connected together by the connector.
Grab two pieces of wire long enough to reach the clutch pedal switch and do the following:
1st wire: Connect to one end of the black / yellow striped wire to the top left terminal of the clutch pedal switch.
2nd wire: Connect to other end of the black / yellow striped wire to the bottom right terminal of the clutch pedal switch.
Reassemble dash and drive away.
Sorry for the lack of pics but I have not been able to get to the vehicle for a long enough time to do this.

I am sorry I am not going to get any pics. I will need to dismantke the car to obtain them and at the moment it is working and I dont have an immediate need to pull things apart to get pics.
If I get time I will look into it.
