My auto garage door remote is old and big. Tandy in their catalogue have some universal remotes, and ideally I'd like to replace the garage doorwith it, and if possible, the car remote so I only need the single remote.

Anyone know the frequency the Magna remotes work on? Are they code hopping? Would this remote be able to learn it, either by pressing the old remote button, or from the 3 key turns?

If it doesn't work, then no biggy, coz can I already see myself pulling out, pushing a button to close the garage door, and my boot popping up.

wont work. I know I tried before with my previous renting house. And dont waste money on Ebay on these. :)
