Hey,
For those of you that have done the letterbox grille's, how have you been attaching the mesh to the back of it?
Cheers, Lukas.

was it originally a TH grill?
if so there are two parts; you cut the inside of the behind piece out so youre left with a frame, you then clamp the mesh in between this part and the grill by screwing both pieces together

For example. I just cant work out how people are getting the mesh to stay.
Unless they are just using a tonne of hot glue or something else equally as obvious.

A tube of silicon would do it, or Sikaflex 252 if you want to be professional ;) Same stuff as body kits are glued on with.

Was hot glue i used on this one mate, has been a while now and its still all good.
If i was to do it again though i would rather some little screws or something so it can be removed.
Hit up jesse_james i think he made one using screws or something

Black silicone dude, Its about $18 a tube, remains soft after it drys so it still flex's with movement. Its fantastic stuff. once you have it stuck down to your grille, tape it over so it doesnt move for a good 24 hours to be safe and yeah, very good stuff, can be had from bunnings or super cheap

Make sure you clean the mating surfaces first using a non oil based solvent for maximum adhesion.
As Mitch79 stated earlier, its Sika252 that you want.
