Hey guys,

I brought a eurovox multimedia system for my car which includes a in car TV tuner.

This is all brand new but didnt come with a installation guide.

Does anybody know how or where to run the antennas etc with this? and im assuming they both need to be powered judging by the red and black wires coming out of each antenna end, if that makes sense?. And what are those two flimsy red/black things up the top left of the picture?

any help would be greatly appreciated! Ive never done a actual TV receiver in a car before, its all new to me.

can't be of much help but those "flimsy plastic things" look much like the wire holders i use in most of the electronics me and the old man do. Just used to bundle all the wires together and keep it tidy, could be wrong though

Logically the antennae need to be positioned in a place that will offer the least interferance, so somewhere up near the base of the windshield or on the rear parcel shelf. Or if you felt creative, perhaps inside the A-pillars. I'd keep them hidden.

Have you googled the model number of the box you're working with to see if there is any online documentation?

Ive googled the model number but with not much luck

Ive spoken to Go technologies which are now the aussie importer of eurovox. I got the installation guide off them but it didnt really say much about where to generally put things.

I guess one under the dash and one under parcel shelf would be the go.

I also found out im missing the IR receiver so i have to order one of those before i can use it anyway. Ill wait till i get that before i fit it all i guess.
