I posted a thread bout a month ago concerning me purchasing the car i have now well i have it and i am happy to report it is great.
Its dark green, stock color i suspect, 3.5L 4sp tiptronic auto. Doesnt have power windows but can live with that barely hehe.
130,000km got for $7700 even with interest i am paying will still be within margain of other similar magnas I have seen for sale.
Have put a K&N air filter to it dont know what you guys think havent noticed any really great power gains but wouldnt really know unless driven on open road as I havent done as yet.
Fuel consumption seems high yet i suppose i drive a bit aggressively and round town mostly, 18l/100km seem high ?
Not sure on size of tank filled up 53 litres. Is 55 litres size of tank dont know. Anyway havent had time to take pictures to show u guys as turned too dark to take decent picture.
Look forward to hearing comments suggestions
Cheers

Tank size is 71 litres, as per what it says in your manual. No, air filter usually doesn't do much, but at least it's reusable. 18L/100kms seems very high, unless it's constantly stop-start.

Hey mate welcome to the club!
Regarding power windows, you could always do a conversion? Im just at the end of my power window conversion.... its been hellish and expensive, but should be worth it. Although I think I just had bad luck as some people did theirs for alot less money than me.... hmm
That consumption is very high..... My 3.0L does around 10/11L per 100km and is a mix of highway and town driving and I also drive quite enthusiastically... Im pretty sure the 3.0L and 3.5 have pretty similar consumptions..
Dont think the air filter would give more than 2kw power improvement, so barely noticable anyway. If your looking for power, the first mod I would recommend is a catback exhaust.. Search the forums for Lukey or Berkley/burkley as these are the most popular...

Thanks for the advice
When i filled up almost to empty only 50 or so litres to fill it up dont know whats going on there but could be some sort of glitch?
The car a purchased has been sitting on the lot for about 6 months so I would expect its time for a service even before the km interval and as I work for the place I bought the car from I would expect they would do it but I basically drove the car off the lot and bought it without any type of inspection.
U say 71 litres but I couldnt see any tank size in the manuel, probably not looking hard enough, and 20 litre descrepancincy between me filling up almost on empty and full seems weird.
Anyway having idling problem seems to shudder at idle, could be related to this whole thong but I really dont know.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Empty mark seems to mean 12L left in the tank in my car. I've put 64L into my tank once, after driving with the fuel light on maybe 60kms.

Twellevelkes-justelky is right, it should have power windows, according to Redbook, for the MY02.

Yeah my sisters TJ Series 1.5 Advance has power windows, cruise and climate control. $7700 is probably a tad rich, my sister's with 138k on the clock was $5800.
18L/100km is way out of wack, even for city driving. My 3.5L Verada auto got 14L/100 if I gave it boot around town, and my sisters 3.5L gets 12.5L/100km and she does exclusively city driving. Might be worth checking your O2 sensor, may have shat itself.
My fuel tank has about 20L left when it shows empty (aka 51L used). Travelled 160km once on empty, still had a few L left.

Ditto. The most fuel I've ever put in is about 62 litres, and that's with the needle dead on empty.
Performance-wise, a straight-through muffler would be your best bet, as that's the only difference between your engine and the Sports/VR-X. From there it's up to you, but I'd lean towards some handling or cosmetic mods. Mags and lowering are a good start, you'll get noticable gains in handling, plus your car will look better too.
