So, on the way home today i noticed i had a spanner in my odometre/fuel economy LCD..... Anyone know what this means? Im pretty sure that it means i need a service on something. Thing is though when i got the car it didnt come with the operators manual.....
Thanks in advance,

Sean

Yeah it means service is due - it can be reset (as if the car just had a service) or you can ignore it and it will go out after 500km after the scheduled ODO reading, eg service light for 90000km service will go out at 90500.

Oh thank god.... Cos i had my last service at 101,000km and its only just under 105... Sweet. Any idea how to re-set it?

Don't worry.. Just keep driving and it'll go out on it's own... Did on mine... :D

to remove the spanner while pushing the up button, turn the key from lock to on
should disappear now :)
but yeah always comes on when nearing a scheduled service, comes on 500k's before the service and stays on until 1,000k's after the service

clearing it using this method does not work on all models. for example it worked on Dan's 2002 Ralliart, but didn't work on my 2003 TJ2 Advance.
