Hey guys sorry i did a search but couldn't find the answers i was looking for.

Question 1- How do you remove and install a Magna boot garnish? Like i want to replace my one with a chrome one.

Question 2- How do you take off the side skirts to colour code them? And whats the DIY way to colour code them yourself?

Thanks in advance.

Hey mate, there should be 3 or 4 screws in the garnish that you can get too through the boot. if you have a small shifter or smaller spanners they will be your friend here. It's a bit fiddly.

The skirts are held on with trim clips mostly with some bits screwed in near the ends from memory, after the screws are out they just need a good tug. The best bet for DIY coding is to get some pressure packs made up with your colour code (on a plate on your firewall) you can find these at Autobarn and similar. Just remember to take your time in the preparation and the spraying, time spent = results.

Hope that helps,

Kieran
