Well,im soon to help out a fellow member do a spring/shock change.......thing is ,he has a wagon...

any advise/tips....and all that stuff,in terms of "how to remove springs on the rear of a wagon "

Remove

1. Jack up rear of vehicle. Then place stands under the rear body jacking points.
2. Remove wheels.
3. Support axle housing (lightly) under centre with a floor jack
4. Disconnect shock absorbers at lower mounting points
5. Remove the bolt securing the lateral rod to the body and bolt securing the lateral rod to the axle, remove lateral rod.
6. Lower Jack slightly to release tension on springs and remove the coil springs

Install is reverse steps but tighten the shock absorber nuts and lateral rods to spec AFTER lowering the car. (shock absorber nut 45Nm, Lateral rod bolts 110Nm)
