i have a th magna and i am considering putting in a sports steering wheel. i have seen that a couple of you guys have done that. the problem is that my cruise control is mounted into my steering wheel, those who have a th will know what i'm talking about. i don't have air bags, but i am not willing to give up my cruise control. is there any way i can get around this, perhaps by getting an aftermarket cruise control control stick? please help
:D

You should be.. Its illegal to remove the airbag/steering wheel. Also what do you do with the Airbag sensors? Soon as you disconnect them you will get the little red light up "SRS" on your display permanently. That also then gets recorded in the ECU :)

since u dont have an airbag u can start by taking off your steering wheel and see if the cruise is mounted to the spline on the steering column independent of the wheel, if it is u can put an aftermarket wheel over it, if not and its mounted onto the steering wheel u will need to try and mount the cruise to the new wheel maintaining earth connection.
