Anyone noticed this before? Did a search but couldn't find anything specific to the 3rd gen. What other Mitsubishi's had 4WS and used the magna cluster?? Perhaps it was an option on Diamante? Its in lower right of cluster when facing it.

Pretty sure Diamantes have had 4WS as an option since 1990.

I actually got the Diamante power steering fluid reservoir bottle which contains a level sensor, so, In due time I'll have mine hooked up to that light, cause I can..

So...I guess if you wanted to make use of it, hunt down a 3rd gen Diamante P/S fluid reservoir bottle with level sensor and hook it up!

pmsl we aren't all as insane as you tuffy. I was merely wondering why have this light in a 3rd gen, I was aware that our 2nd gen (1st gen sigma/diamante) has 4WS and that is a completely different cluster design...

All good, I'd say well one model somewhere had it:P Easy to hook up though, 2 wires, feed one side IGN and earth it through the light.

Bother my cars have active 4WS - the Eunos 800 is up for sale, it's very handy when parking.
The Magna has 4 wheel power over steer when it's wet outside like tonight :)

Explain to me what "4 wheel power over steer" is, because it sounds like a load of ****.

I'd say he's been getting 'frisky' in the wet.

explanation - it's not 4WS, but rather what zero said. And obviously this was on a private road.
Oh, I left out that my Magna is AWD! that might help to explain it.
