hey does anyone know if Evo springs and struts of any model will fit our cars, im wondering as there is frequently cheap deals going on trade me for springs as guys replace them and was thinking if the standard ones are lower or stiffer than ours could be a cheap way to improve handling on my diamante.

your best bet would be to search through chisloms posts, or contact him, im pretty sure that he got evo coilovers in his magna, not sure how different shocks and springs would be though..

I know cummins is using evo coilovers in his ralliart but i know fronts were strait fit but rears needed a bracket made and welded on to fit.

sorry to hijack, but a few days ago i bought monroe GT shocks, and i got front struts? are the shocks inbuilt into the struts? or did i not receive any front shockers? I ask because I got separate shockers for the rear, but the struts as well for the front.

hope that makes sense, sorry for n00bness ;D

Front suspension on Gen 2 and 3 Magna / Verada is McPherson type. i.e. combined shock absorber / strut assembly.

just to clarify, there was no welding of brackets to make the rears fit. it's a custom made spacer which allows the north-south evo strut to be mounted to the east-west magna bracket.
