is it true that tl magna's have disposable hub's. I just went in to buy new wheel bearings for the back and was told they only do disposable hubs for my model.
its a PIA to replace the bearings i have heard. easier to just get a new assembly

tis indeed a PITA.
however, if you wanna save money, go buy the bearing separate and have them pressed into the hub. the hubs are NOT 'disposable' they're just pressed onto the bearings.
to put it in perspective; TR/TS Front hubs w/ berings new; $109 ea/ @ autobarn
TR/TS Front wheel bearings new (just bearings; $50/pair.

CBC bearings, ARE able to get you individual parts that you request, they just prefer to sell in kits coz its easier for them.
try Geoff Walsh engine parts - they are expensive and i wouldnt buy anything on principal from him anyway
you also have direct auto supply too - but your best bet woudl be CBC for what you need i think (here in mackay(
