At the danger of sounding like a tool . . . . where is the switch for the boot light in a TS sedan?

I always thought it was in the boot latch itself, as when I close that with a screwdriver, it shuts the light off, and I can work in the boot for hours without having that light on..

open your drivers door and find what triggers the inside lights, im guessing there will be something similar in your boot. just a guess, if not im not sure :-S

Yes that's a door switch located at the bottom LHS of the door, we all know what that does :P And no, there is not that in the boot...If your not sure dont post :P

Is in the latch, you will find a wire that goes into the latch, that is the sucker

Yep, found it and its working again. Wasn't the globe, or the switch, but as break in the wire on the boot hinge where the sheath was kinked, gets bent everytime I open/shut the boot, and it wore through. Just shoddy materials I guess jk :hmm:
