I've always wanted to get the word 'mitsubishi' in the rear garnish to light up.... Pulling the rear garnish apart is too hard though

Our family car is a 2008 Honda Odyssey, it has LED tail lights and brake lights - they're one of the coolest looking things.

IMO it'd look better if the whole tail lights were covered like this...
(or maybe at least have the extra LEDs work with the brake lights)

Good luck getting your spacing absolutely perfect because that will look absolutely terrible if you get it wrong.

I'll post up some pics tonight of the tail lights I did on my TS, one version used the std lights, the other using KS verada lights.

I found on ebay the globes that have replaced the original ones with LED's. Simply plug right in to your existing socket.

I will poast up a pic of a globe shortly.

Is it legal to turn the back of your car into a christmas tree? lol

i reckon you'd have issues with the boys in blue for making a mod like this to a magna. Not saying that you shouldn't do it, just saying.

Some of the old lights on the TS, the ones on the car were the 2nd version I made with Luxeon Star LEDs in an array. The strip ones used 10mm high intensity LEDs. The best choice now are Luxeon SuperFlux Leds.

Didn't take pics of the 2nd version, they were made on aluminium heatsink plates that were made to fit the lights exactly.

the first version was just strips of leds hot glued into the light.

Do you have any problems with the life span of your LEDS?

All of the LED "replacement" lamps I've tried have only lasted a few months.

Does anyone have a source for reliable ones?

Trouble is that, well a lot of the various led ive tried...unfotunately....none of them match the "intensity" and color of the std globes.....and im a real big led fan......but for tail/brake /indicator functions....especially at the rear..FAIL
