Hi all,

I am in a great need of some help with my Pioneer AVH-P6850DVD HU. It is installed in my KH XI and has been for nearly 3 years. It has operated completely without fault for just that long............until last night.

I had tried to eject some of the cd's in the unit (as the stacker is located behind the screen), and when I pushed eject, the screen wouldn't motor open fully! I have managed to get it to open since, and have progressed to taking it out of the car for a better look.

I have some pictures that show the screen in its open position. What I think has happened is the white, toothed strip has rotated out of alignment, as its not missing any teeth.

What I need to work out the issue is to have someone with the same headunit, simply take a pic of the underside of the screen when its in the open position.

Thanks for any help as I really do not feel like replacing this (up until now) awsome HU.
