Need help.I have blown my blinker fuse while installing a new cd player.
Now my fuse box in the car don't have a cover and i have run a tester light across all the fuses and they seem to be fine.
Is the blinker fuse in the car under the sterring wheel or under the bonnet?
Can anyone post a pic on the Interior Fuse Box Cover please.i have a TF.
Thanks

I believe it is in the engine bay, I'm not sure which one though, you also could have blown the flasher relay and not the fuse.

Not entirely sure, and am at work at the moment so can't check my manual.

Try Fuse number 10 in Drivers footwell (a 10amp fuse), OR also check the Fuses inside a yellow surround in the engine bay - the yellow surround pulls upwards - only a short way - this is to allow the fuses to be removed. Test the 10amp fuse of the pair inside the yellow bit.

Forget the specifics of these two, but they are the ones I have blown at times while tinkering - and fairly confident that one of them is blinkers.

Thanks guys

Think i might have blown the relay.
I have checked all fuses in the car and they are ok.
Checked all fuses under the bonnet and they are ok aswell.
Has me stumped just have to wait for help tomorrow.
Thanks

Did you plug the hazard switch back in on the A/C and Headunit fascia? Because if you didn't your indicators won't work. Give that a check over.

Good one, Nemesis - I think you might have cracked this one! With hazard switch unplugged, you will def have NIL blinkers. A dealers service dept did this to my car once.

yes thats it.goto the top of the class.

It had me stumped.......
now i can restart on installing the stero.
i did not want to go any further untill i fixed that problem first.

Now another question.
I found the old forum on installing the stero and what colour wires go were but it still don't get any power?
i thought the blinker problem might have been why,but of course it was not.
So any hint,s as to why i would be getting no power to the stero.
thanks in advance

This happened to me today after I installed my headunit. Was a pain in the **** to go thru everything, and then realise that the green plug wasnt put in.... Fuuuuuuu-
