I am experiencing some rear inner tyre scrub on my TS V6, standard suspension and ride height other than replacement Pedder struts and bushes up front and Pedder rear shocks.
I get the impression this could be a common problem and I can,t see any adjustment under there.
Anybody encountered this and is there a fix.

Having a look at the Haynes manual - Wheel Alignment general information, it says the following for the rear.
"The rear should be measured for camber and toe-in, but neither is adjustable. It's set at the factory. If it is not within the standard dimensions, suspension parts are bent or worn and must be renewed".
If this has only occurred after being in at Pedders, the question to ask would be "did Pedders renew the rear shocks only, and no other rear suspension parts?

that's the whole point -there is no rear alignment other than that designed in - by Mitsu - if it is out something is bent, simple as that. Drifted into a curb lately?

What about the rear camber? My right left wheel is pointing slightly in (neg camber), from when I lowered the rear today (Everything is on how it should be though as I double checked everything).... I was hoping that this would be fixed in the alignment? Is this something else?? :O
Edit: Sorry for thread hijack op.....
NVM! I just realised, of course its got neg camber, its been lowered so the wheels have to bend in to stay flat...duhhh. Realised when I saw a heavily lowered commo with all tires with heavy neg camber....

Thanks for the input boys. Rear bushes could be the issue here looks like they are originals (180000kms). Certainly no gutter hits on my part, standard rear end xcpt for 15x7 alloys standard tyre size 205 60 15.

second gens are a solid axle rear, (well my three have been) if the scrubbing has only been there since the wheels i'd say your wheels have too high offset, or if the scrubbing is only on one side i'd hazard a guess at a bent panhard rod, failing both these check bushes, i run 18x8" wheels with 235 tyres no problem on my lowered magna so something would need to be out by a fair amount to cause scrubbing
