You have hooked the negative wire of the CD player into the illumination wire of the lights, did the same thing my self in a pajero
When the lights are off both wires will act as grounds, when you switch the lights on the relay flicks over and becomes positive.
Either that or your cd player is up the creek without a padel.

Thanks will recheck again the wires , the funny thing is i run a positive cable straight from the battery to see what will happen and same story lights on cd player off , so yeah need to be something connected wrong.
At least i have music during day time :) but at night sssshhhh anti disturbance system kicks in :)

Is the stereo HU an aftermarket one, or a Mitsi OEM unit?
Mitsubishi units are earthed through the casing and the mounting brackets - there is no earth/ground wire in the loom connecting to the radio.
If you have an aftermarket stereo fitted, these typically have an earth/ground wire coming out of the radio - but there is no corresponding wire in the car loom..... you just have to find a convenient metal point in the dash to attach that wire to. The ground wire from the radio is commonly black - but check what yours is, if it is an aftermarket radio you are using.

Almost pointless posting but yeah, it's definitely the case you've grounded to Illumination.
Since there's no ground in the connector, most people if they test with a multimeter think Illumination is ground as invariable when they test it, the lights are off, and it acts as a ground.
And like everyone else, made the same mistake myself :)
