My A/C Compressor, has a dried out bearing from flood water and i have been unable to get it replaced yet. I was wondering if like alot of older and different cars, if it would be able to just take the belt out. Cause at the moment, its making a bloody ruccus of a noise.

the A/C belt also runs your alternator, so unless you want to keep coming back to a flat battery then i wouldnt remove the belt

the P/S has its own belt

+1

you might be able to remove it if you can find another belt short enough to run your alternator. but if you're going to that length, you might as well fix the AC bearing.

You can not easily remove the belt due to the position of the tensioner in relation to the alt. I am not saying it can not be done but the difficulty is not worth if compared to just going out and getting the clutch in your ac pump replaced.
