any1 got a guide? were all the screws are and everything, its the lancer that every1 drives with the triangle tail lights, 2dr coupe.

I imagine you mean either a CC or CE lancer? I'd suggest checking out Mitsubishi Club Australia, they may have some guides on console removal and wiring harnesses. Otherwise just buy a manual.

If you have a CE there is not screws :D.

Take the ash tray out
Take the lighter out
Gently pull the middle section and there are 4 clips in each corner holding it on.
Unplug the cig lighter wires and it is free.
Then the only screws you may have is holding the CD player in place, but depending on what series it can be held in by a cradle so will just slide out!

NB: depending on the headunit you may need to remove the decorative plastic surround that you can see from the front.

I'm getting rusty - took me 11.3 the other day. Must have been nerves.

it takes me only five, but i do it ryde motor group style. massacre everything, then charge the customer for what we broke lol
