Hi everyone i just bought a unichip unit from a mate and want to have it put in.

Does anyone know of any really good installers in Melbourne that know what they are doing. I am located in Epping but dont mind travelling to an installer as long as i am assured that it will be done properly.

With a unichip you have to get it done at an unichip specialist place, mainstream places cant do it. So i advise that you look up online to see what unichip specialists are in your area and go to one of those.

I should have made it clear in my first post that i am aware that the UNICHIP must be installed by an authorised dealer.

There are a few around me that i know of, Electronic Automotive (EPPING) used to install UNICHIP but no longer do so as an authorised dealer. (although he will still install them just not supply).

Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with any UNICHIP installers so i know not to go to them?

Was the UniChip you got from your mate off a Mitsubishi.I believe that they are not one unit suits all???.Their web site as a list of installers in each state. http://www.airpowersystems.com.au/unichip/unichip.htm
