I have a strange smell inthe carsince having window tinting done a couple of weeks ago.
Anyone else noticed this after having theirs done?

yeah very funny but its a strong musty smell that wasnt there before the tinting was done.

Might be the adhesive they used. When mine was done after delivery, it took two weeks to cure. So hopefully it'll be gone soon. I didn't get any smells.

It could be the guy who tinted the windows - haven't you seen that Seinfeld epidose where the valet stinks? You will need to get a priest to get rid of that smell.

I recall in that episode, he couldn't even give the car away. He stepped out of it with the engine running, right next to some street thug. The thug approaches the car, at first, but after copping a whiff, backs off.

Could take the socks out of the glove box:redface:Wish I'd never mentioned it now, but it could be the adhesive I suppose.

it wont be the adhesive, alot of water is used to spray and clean the windows and also wet windows before application of the film and its probably soaked into your upholstery somewhere. If conditions are right, ie temperature etc, mould will start to grow causing the smell especially in winter when its hard to dry. Drive around with the heater full bore for a while
