Weirdest thing happened with the Ralliart, the button in the glovebox to open the boot just stopped working.
Was working since i got the car and now nothing.
No noises, no clicking.......nothing.
But the boot still opens when i use the remote to open it.
Has this happened to anyone on here ?
Any suggestions ?

i think these are electric from the switch to the solenoid

Well, checking the button and the wires/connections from there back through looms to boot would be a place to start.
There are workshop manuals links posted in these forums, which let you download genuine Mitsi manual - check the wiring diagrams in that, it'll show what components the boot release runs through, and will also show you the type of connector at various junctions.
Will be a bit of a pain, but either the button itself has stopped functioning, or it has been detached from rest of the boot release "system" somehow.

Pry it open with a crowbar. then to close, tape it up with a black scotch tape. perfect excuse for having racing stripes.
