I got this off a 1997 Diamante. It has an extra switch that reads auto. I dont know if it will work with our wiring harness. Can someone confirm..?? Im not fussed about the auto switch but more the fog light switch and headlight switch works ok.

Any help will be great.

I would be surprised if it was plug and play, but you could wire it up if it didn't work with ours,
would it fit our steering col? Cuz they are on the oppisite side where our indicator would be

what i want to know if this will plug into our magnas ok. It will fit the car no problems. I dont want the Auto function to work just want the foglights and headlights to work as normal. I want to install this over a standard stalk when fitting Foglights to a standard magna.

No it will not work. If this is anything like the 1st gen diamante Auto headlights you need the photodiode sensor (think thats the one) Dash loom and main relay loom as another relay clicks over when you flick it to auto. Again only going off 1st gen diamante but same shit diff smell really

so no, wouldnt work

edit* normal headlight and parker functions SHOULd still work as the plugs going into the dash loom looked the same as the standard magna one

See im not worried about the Auto Function. as long as the rest of the headlight switch works ok and foglight switch too.

couldnt you do a dodgy and wire it up so auto goes to on...

whats the point? it needs that sensor to tell it when to go on and when to go off, or else then auto is just on, which makes it useless

who cares what u have fool rhino u wont even wire the driving lights up factory style lazy lol nah it will work jason but would be a cool add on to have auto function working aswell.

Will it work if we get the sensor from the diamante and wire it in?

Mines getting installed on Sat, using a autoheadlight kit I bought.
I'll let you know how it goes.

Supercheap, $25 it's called the commander auto light. mcs_xi has it in his car, not the stalk, he did a how to thread.
