Ah, I've got these caps on my TF as I had to replace the spoiler (long story) and the new one didn't quite fit properly so needed new holes. Can't tell you the name of the cap, but they're not aesthetically pleasing (mine are hidden because of spoiler) but without it would be an eye-sore. Yes, they are water-tight. Sorry I can't give more info.

If you visit a repco store you will find a rack of fasteners on that rack you will find rubber grommits. you will need to measure the size of your holes. Just remember you want the grommits tight so as water the get in.
Also supercheap & Autobarn should stock them too. There is 4 or 5 grommits in a pack for a few dollars. you need two size grommits as there is two holes.
Bit of a huge bump here -
Any issues with painting over these grommets or reckon it's obscure enough as it is?
My spoiler is pretty scratched to hell (something got to it - like hard brush or something) and i'm considering removing it - but i'd rather get it all done in one hit.. can't afford to repaint in a hurry.

If you want it done right it's a fill and spray job, anything less will look half-assed.

or go to the wreckers and find a bootlid without a wing. To get the boot holes welded and painted you'd be looking at about $200-$300
thanks fellas,
If it'll look like crap bugger it - i'll have a shop around at a repaint of my spoiler or find someone to weld + paint her up..
Cheers

If you want to trial your car with no spoiler by all means remove it and plug the wholes with grommits and then you can decide how you will do it. When you first take the spoiler off you wont like it, It will take a week or two for you to warm to the look.
tip for anyone considering this.. the absolutely best thing ive found for capping spoiler holes are the sticky caps that cabinet makers use for capping off screws inside cabinets. they come in a very broad range of colours, arent too costly, and i pressure washed my car/went through auto car washes at least 30 times with them on and they shows no signs at all of ever budging. the other bonus is that they are about 0.5mm thick so they blend in with the car a crap load more than the grommets (especially if your car happens to be Mawson White, hehe).
there is a few different brands is the only thing to watch out for. off the top of my head, Howard Silvers brand is the best to use, but if you were to visit a Hafele store (one in every state) they will have a very broad range of caps to choose from. What you are after is one with a sticky back that is thick enough to not have much flex in it. the crappier ones bend like a sticker.
