Okay guys finally getting around to fixing the car and need some help. I need to replace the two left doors (front and back), i found a guy wrecking a car near me. Its a 2000 advance or something and i have a 1999 sports.
What i need to know is: will all my electric windows be a straight swap from my doors into the manual winder ones? or do i need to buy two doors that already had electric windows. Im assuming the door trims will fit aswel???
cheers guys

Elec windows will fit in doors that came with manual winders! (I just did the conversion a few weeks ago...)

Yeah basically unbolt and rebolt. Its much easier and quicker if you take the window glass out first though (When rebolting),takes like 2 mins. The rear doors have the manual window thing bolted up differently, but just remember how you took the elec reg out of your car and put it in the other door the same way- All the holes are there.

Just a small point - isn't there a minor difference in the bracket for the door trim between manual and power windows? That pressed metal bracket that takes a screw from the handgrip in the door trim..... seem to recall that power-window cars have a door trim which intrudes into teh cabin slightly more than the manual door card.
Would only be a matter of unscrewing that metal bracket from the inner door skin onto the new doors.
Also might pay to check the plastic external mouldings on the bottom of the doors, don't they sometimes vary between models? (Again, only a matter of swapping over if needs be).

well pretty much all i want is the skin, everything else will be used from my original doors as its all working correctly. so if what your saying is the case, shouldnt be too much of a problem hay?

Might want to get them painted before you put them on. They'll need to be taken off and stripped to be painted otherwise...

Yep, should be Ok - just check one to the other before you start to see what (if anything) needs to be swapped.

No difference in the door shell at all guys,
They are pressed to take both, the grab handle on both set ups are screwed to a metal bracket and even use the same bracket
