Time to replace shocks (145 000km). Will do job myself. Considering doing springs also. Anyone with experience please comment. The 3 brands under consideration are KYB, Boge and Monroe. Magnas/Veradas have soft standard springing (Verada, according to Autospeed had 140 lb/inch front and 110 lb/inm rear). Does anyone know the figures for Magna and particularly the Sports/VRX. Definitely want to go for firmer springs and anyway mine have probably dropped a bit. At first I was keen on lowering the car 10-20mm but have learned that any lowering requires off-set rear lower control arm bolts (getting too hard). Sports/VRX have same ride height as Advance/Executive. One option is to get from Mitsu standard Sports springs and good shocks. Does anyone know what shocks are standard for Sports? It seems smalles drop one can get is 30mm. What standard height springs are available with higher compression figures than standard (say 165-175lb/in front and 140 lb/in rear)?

call one of the spring manufacturers. I think any of them will do custom spring rates in whatever height you want. I know Cummins had custom Kings Springs on his Ralliart before he went to coilovers.

probably won't be too much more $$ than aftermarket stuff.

Boge + King Low SPs if you're not looking to go to low & don't want too harsh a ride. You won't need a camber correction kit for this & whoever tells you do is only after your $$.

PM Type40 as he has this setup on his car & to be honest, if I didn't already have Konis in mine, I'd have the same myself.
