There are some bargains to be had on eBay when buying new driveshafts. But I get the impression that TM model drive shafts may be different from those for TN/TP. Is this so? Or are all first generation Magna drive shafts the same/interchangeable? Thanks in anticipation. Regards Bazz47.

I put a set of shafts from an auto TP onto a manual TP a few years back. They were the same, but the intermediate shaft bracket that bolts onto the block was different.

No, sorry - bought a manual TP 2.6 years ago cheap and needed to replace one of the drive shafts. Wrecker got them - and the transfer shaft - out of an auto. Only difference was the transfer shaft to crankcase mounting bracket.
Car served me well, got it cheap because the previous owner thought it was on its last legs, but fixing many vacuum leaks on the (carby) manifold and replacing the starter motor (fractured reduction drive gear) had it running well.

So if a seller advertises drive shafts for a TM Magna, can I assume it will fit my TP?
