Hello all,

My dear wifey was driving and lo and behold, managed to hit the side mirror against our garage wall :roflwtf:. The unit itself is fine but the mirror inside has come loose. Can anyone suggest the cheapest way to get this fixed or do I have to replace the whole unit? thanks

The glass piece in 3rd gen mirror assemblies can be purchased seperately from Mitsu for about $25.

Just be thankful its not an electro-chromatic one that the Verada's have... about $250 just for the glass piece!

The mirror can be clipped off quite easily. There are four clips.

Tilt your mirror all the way down, and unclip the two top clips. Then tilt it all the way up (careful not to reclip the top), and then unclip the botton two. And you're done.
