Wats a good brand for an replacement.? Aswell i didnt understand all these 22mm and mm kits.? So yeah mine are starting to crack and im looking for a replacement.
Thanks Kurt

Mate,
the only way to go is new rubber, all of these nolathane and urethane are crap, they are not bonded to the bush sleeve and outer casing as Mits designed them to do so, they wear fast, go hard and perish in a short matter of time
I have had cars with handling issues with the above rubbish in them, replaced with rubber and they were perfect
Other issue, you do not want hard in front end suspension bushes, they need to have some give to reduce bump steer and to prevent the tyre from lifting off the road

they are off-centred bushes, they assist with keeping the nose of the car down when accelerating. i have a set of them fitted to my TL, they will do nothing if they are not fitted correctly as I have found out when I had pedders fit them for me. It made my handling to bad that i didn't drive the TL for a while until i had the time/opportunity to have the car sent off to another suspension specialist to have them pushed out and refitted correctly. You'll need to find a member around your area with one of this castors fitted to have a feel for the car for yourself.

I couldn't tell you how much more these made to my TL as I had them corrected along side fitting Kings Lows and Koni Reds. But prior to fitting the springs and shocks, I had these castors fitted with stock springs and shocks they didn't make if any difference due to as mentioned earlier that pedders did not fit them correctly which resulted in aweful handing and major alignment issues for the car. They retail for about $250 from memory.
Since having the shocks, springs and castors corrected, I very happy with the car.

maybe magna's are different to everyother sedan/car/hatch/coupe i have ever owned, which only improved dramatically after fitting urethane bushes? i only use superpro.. white line are ok, but not nolethane (very sh!t IMHO) white line not bad.. but superpro are the best.. they have different bushes in a range of hard > soft.. the ONLY problem that i have had with them was user error.. eg, not cutting off the bush from the crush tube if it needs to be reused (for example the front inner LCA's on corolla/starlets) and not using enough lube.. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS TOO MUCH LUBE with urethane bushes in particular..

Ok. So that price is for one side of a control arm. You would need 2 sets as obviously theres 2 control arms.?

Oh ok mate. So all up u got 4 caster bushes and everything for about $250. I rang up whiteline aparently they dont make those caster kits for magnas anymore.
I thought in the caster kits it would come with 4 bushes cause theres 2 bushes on each side.?

The Anti Lift Castor kits are for the front control arm. And Yes they don't make them anymore for Magnas, perhaps Selbys might make it still.....

No,
The Magna needs 1 bush per side.
This is the approx 60 mm bush at the rear end of each control arm.
There were 2 different Whiteline kits.
Firsat was Caster adjust only. This is just a new bush with an offset hole.
Second was Castor and Anti-lift - very usefull on a FWD car. This is the offset hole bush in a new bracket.
Then there are 2 different Magna mounting systems.
The only one that I have seen is the pin type. Here the pin through the bush sticks out on the back.
The other is a threaded type. I suspect that there will be a washer and a nut towards the rear of the car.
Quick look underneath will tell you what type.
TJ onwards are pin type.
If you check the Superpro and Nolathane / Red Ranger sites you will find that there are standard caster as well as increased caster bushes available.
So if you car pulls to one side, then you can fit an increased caster bush on the side the car pulls to and a standard one on the other side.
I fitted the increase caster bush kit from Whiteline over a year ago. Much better cornering, however now the car is becoming increasingly nervous on typical Sydney roads. Something is now worn that I have to diagnose and fix.

i didn't bother taking 2 pics, getting under the car 1 time is bad enough... as you can see, there isn't much clearance under that car as it is... Ask Shawn from Phillcom in regards to a replacement for the Whiteline Anti Lift Castors. He may know of other Brands that would have similar products otherwise there is a standard replacement Nolathane Castor Bush on ebay. I'll find the link and pm it to you.

There is?
The bush as shown is towards the rear of the car, there's a ball joint into the hub plus swaybar mounts. Can't recall seeing anything else on mine.
