yeah they might be a ripoff sometimes but with a part that is in almost everycar they get and is not rare at all it should be fine!
it will be cheaper and less hassle then trying to get one from the states.. plus it doesnt even say it will ship to us..

It would be different to ours as the drivers side vent allows fresh cold air to come through when the heater is on etc, so they are back to front for RHD.

The centre-vents are often destroyed in Sydney self-serve wreckers, probably because tossers just try to rip them out, and do not understand there is a strong cable on the drivers side from thumb-wheel to heater box near drivers footwell.
See how you go at local wreckers, or if you get desperate PM me - I have a couple spares cos I got silver-painted vents from the Mitsi Clearance Centre (God rest its soul) and have swapped-in the silver ones into a couple of our cars.
Have a search in here for "how to" of stereo removal, cos some absolutely excellent threads with pics show how to detach the "fresh/air-con" cable from heater in drivers footwell, which then allows you to remove the centre vents safely (which then lets you unscrew the radio panel). Might help you explain to a wrecker what's needed, rather than have them destroy a centre-vent you want cos they don't know how to remove it!!

i know how to take it out lol, have had a little trouble with it before, once i ended pu taking all the fins out first hahaha, but there is the cable attached to the thumb wheel, but when i bought the car, it looks like one or 2 of the clips are broken and sticks out quite a bit from the rest

Ferret enough.
Dozens of these get fins ripped out at self-serve wreckers, due to that cable!
All the Bro's and Uleh's etc that dunno how to attack a Magna with some finesse........ or maybe they just enjoy inflicting pain on damaged Magna's.
