I cant believe i only noticed this the other day but my fronts and sub are acting as my Right channel and my Rears are acting as my left! and when i fade its all in the rear and nothing in the front.

I've got it wired as follows.

Set of RCAs goes from the only set of RCA preouts my HU has which are labled "rear" these RCAs then go to the amp there is a set of RCA Splitters attached so the RCA cable which then connects to both the Front and Rear Channels.

The Front Hertz Splits are then connected to the Front channels and then Sub is connected to the rear channels.

I think have the rear Sony splits connected to the rear channels of the Head Units wiring loom.

How should i wiring this to make the balance left and right and the fade front and rear

would this mean you only have 1 set of rca's labelled 'rear'? well, if thats the case....dunno, get hi-lo adapters for ur front channels and hook them up to ur amp? these things are supposed to wreck ur sq a bit tho...

look at the way ur rca's go into the amp. if u got the red one split and going to a red and a white then only 1 channel is going to that input. u'll have to put the splitters on and then look at which colour it is and put one of the splitters into each of the inputs. ie if the splitter is on the red 1 u put the ends into the red inputs, etc...

that prob sounds a bit strange but if u read it a few times and look at it u should get the drift.

no matter what.. with only 1 set out preouts ur not gonna get front/rear fade but u should be able to get left/right balance.

have a shot and if u still don't uinderstand let me know and i'll draw a pic.

Good luck

thanks guys, it was the RCA's I had two lefts going to the spltis and two rights going to the sub. Fade is still stuffed but thats because i have nothing on the "front" as far as the HU is concerned will have to pull the HU out and plug the Rears into the HUs "front".
