Ok so ya know when you run out of petrol you drop revs and it sounds like its running on 3 and not 6 you hit the accelerator and nothing happens apart from a funny half rev type thing this happened to me today twice pulled over dropped it into N gave it a few revs and it was fine

now the fun part

2005 TW magna factory LPG no petrol in my car and it has over 1/4 of a tank (the tank in the boot has a gauge built into the tank)

any ideas? if you need more info please ask sorry for my description I suck at telling how or what my car was doing as it fails

What exactly do you mean 'nothing happens'?

Does the car try to accelerate but stutters?

Does it feel like a miss?

As it revs freely in neutral, im leaning towards a broken/dodgy lead - had this happen to me with 1000km old Top Gun leads. Would stutter/miss when accelerating, but in N it was fine.

Other things to look at could be spark plugs/distributor.

when was the last time you had the gas tuned by someone who isnt mitsubishi? Sounds like it could be running too rich / flooding (as poorly tuned gas likes to do lol)

That too. Could be the LPG has gone out of tune? Anyway too tired, so I'll leave this to people with more of an idea :)

im going to get it tuned by a gas guy this week I hope if I can get it in its got 86800kms on it so im going to change all the plugs the leads belts and w/pump also this week aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh there goes this weeks pay lol
