Best part is the feeling of actually doing it yourself ay! Gotta ask mate...why the cap? What rms would you be running from that gear?

I'm not sure with the cap but I just thought it would help assisting my system in a small way.
My sub for now is ORION HP-10D2 10" 1000W SUB WOOFER 2 Ohms DVC and to be powered with ALPHASONIK PMZ1600DA AMP 1 CHANNEL. At most would be 300RMS with this set up. I'm still newbie with this since this is my first install with sub.

Impressive and good inspiration... :)

Update: New carpet installed, sub is now in the box.
Next step:Wiring and carpc relocation.
