having a few problems with the auto in my tr. have had it serviced and new tps. my mechcanic ran it past me about converting to manual trans. dunno what is involved or approx cost. can you guys help.

Sourcing a manual box is the first step. Its been done plenty of times before. Do a search and Im sure youll find plenty.

or pick up auto box from wreckers $100 easy

It's not hardest part is cutting holes for the clutch peddel

Nah sorry mate thats for the 1st gens. Tis very easy only have to drill a pre-templated hole for the master clutch cly.

Ive done it check it out in my sig.. Pretty fun to do but if you dont have the time and tools maby just buy another auto box.

just make sure that you do in fact have everything you need before you start else you'll find yourself pulling shit out n putting it back in again n just getting frsutrated!

mechanic reckons a solonoid has gone on the auto. takes about 45 mins to change possibly also computer. tell you one thing this magna really hates lpg just can't get it to run properly without thrashing the poo out of it. i am running a pod but gas has been tuned for that. also have been told its a lower spec system ( cheaper parts ). gonna run on v power or ultimate for now.
