Yeah kev there were neat when I saw them in QLD, what model gauge pod did you use at it seems to fit the magna pillars quite well :D

very very nice. I can see you have put so much effort into it.
It's a shame that so much fabrication is required for the pod to fit.
I think ill go with the gauge cups although my preference is for a pod.

How much were they? Cause as Blake said, they DO hug the pillar quite well!

I like the guages....
but sorry can't say that I like the carbon fibre looking pod that you've used to mount them, just doesn't do it for me with that colour interior. *shrug*
Pod colour asside though (nothing that can't be fixed by some paint) it does hug the A-pillar quite nicely, what brand pod is it... tell us, please?
I wouldn't mind having two or three guages mounted on the A-pillar and then a few mounted in the dash on the passengers side angled towards the driver...

Hey there!
I`ve got to say, thx for all the nice coments!!
That pod is heavely modified from its original shape!!
the brand of the pod is Monza and availible form autobarn, supercrap or repco. The only color its availible in is CARBON look. thats why mine is like that. I wouldve painted it but it takes a bit to pull it all down again. Its getting painted when i do the rest of the interior!! just need some patience and time and money!!
The Gauges are Speco Meter, electric type, as good as autometer and a bit cheaper!!
Thx for the admiration Daz, appreciate it! :surprised
Pm me if anyone in QLD is intressted in getting these fitted by me as I do these sort of things for a hobby!!
Greetz,
kev
the brand of the pod is Monza
I can't believe that a generic monza pod (bought for between $20.00-$50.00 dollars) fits the Magna A-pillar that well, exactly how much modification was required to make it fit that good, com'on spill it. :D
Also, how did you attach it exactly - just screws?... I never was keen on the idea of drilling / screwing stuff into my existing interior...

It took about 3.5 hours of modification to have it fitting like that!!
The other thing is that if u fit those pods u have to drill holes to feed the wires trough otherwise u cant have it sitting properlly! small sacrifice. that trim is prob only $25 from mitsubishi!!
And yes its held on b screws!!
