Red wire (positive)- battery positive to amp (+)
Black/Brown wire (ground) - goes to clean bare metal somewere in boot, short as possible
Thin blue wire (remote wire) goes from back of Headunit to REM on most amps
RCA's go from rear of head unit to amp, just match the colours up
then depending on what amp you use for powering the subs depends were the sub wires go

you have to make sure you match up the ohms and watt of sub and amp...im sure someone with more knowledge can help you there

wirings the easy part mate
run power wire down the passenger side and RCA's and speaker wire down the drivers
power wire should be red so you put that in the postive (+) on the amp
ground should be black which goes into the negative (-) and get grounded to the chassy/bare metal
you'll need a remote wire to run from the h/u to the amps so they turn on when the h/u turns on
you should get a main fuse with a wiring kit which gies into the engine bay as close to the battery as poosible

mmm i would beg to differ i have heard of people shorting their cars installing amp wiring kits as they didnt know what they were doing and kill ECUs so mm costly i would say if u stuff up.. buy the wiring kit take it to a car install place get them to run it least then u have a warranty as well for later down the track.

i got the guys who installed my head unit to run all my amp wires and they charged and extra 50 bucks so its really not much for the safty

make sure u get a quality kit, when i did my first one repco sold me the cheapest kit they did it came with a 30amp fuse within few days just turned to molten plastic ahahahaha but if you do a search may be able to find some helpful info aswel

with wiring up two amps you will need a distrobution block for the main power...pretty sure u can run two amps of one remote wire just split it not 100% sure and some amps come with RCA in and out so you can run a RCA from Headunit to one amp then amp to amp (this is what mine do) if not just run 2 RCA's from HU to each amp... with the remote wire at your headunit depends what brand it is but usually they use a blue one

make sure you disconnect the negative off the battery too when play with electrics ;)

Remote wire you can just split. Power wire you can either get a distribution block or just run 2 separate cables (what I did).

With the wiring you want to make sure you have it right 110%, if you don't know what you are doing, it will cost you more in the end. It doesn't take much to completely fry an amp and take out half the electrics in your car if done incorrectly.

Dude, if you really don't know what you're doing, then I would advise you to not spend any money until you do know what you need.

1: do you know enough about electronics to ensure good connections, correct wiring, and as someone has said, that you don't short anything out?

2: how much power will your amplifiers draw ? You'll need a fuse rated higher than this to protect your car from being burned to the ground. (this is serious)

3: as per #2, total power draw will dictate the minimum safe size for power cabling - that is the cable from positive battery terminal to the amplifier(s) and their earth cable - guessing 4 gauge or better?

4: will you need a different battery terminal and/or distribution block? etc? IMO distro block isn't necessary for 2 relatively low power amps, just connect them together :)

if you have access (as a guest?) to the mobile electronics australia website, I'd recommend going there for a tutorial as I'm sure there's many. The website used to be called www.caraudioaustralia.com.au, but the new website for the forums is: http://www.mobileelectronics.com.au/forums/index.php

ah yer just take the positive off, or just take the batt out that way u know u cant stuff up

As long as you break the circuit and keep it broken there is no need to take your battery out mate.
