Thanks everyone for all your help and advice for trying to recovers our kidnapped rims, but we have decided to adopt a new set.
They are still Verde made and still 22", but we have chosen the Dimension wheel.

Here is a pic. We will post more once we have them in our hands.

Cheers again everyone!!

Good luck with the quadtuplets!

You like the chromey rims. Nice.
I assume you have also adopted some new safe guards against further five-fingered discounts.
Good luck. Knotched(?) was right when he said elsewhere that 22s really do fit the 380 wheels "just right".

Really nice and they look easier to clean, mind you I still like the old ones, and do invest in a good set of lock nuts!! Are you still running Proxes4's or have you found something better?

Yeah we gonna keep them on the car.....if not then they are getting locked and chained away!

We arent going for the Proxes4 because of price. Instead we are going to the Falken FK 452 tyre. We actually still got the lock nuts from the last ones.

I'd give it about a week or so before your old rims turn up somewhere, it always happens.

New rims look much, much better than your old ones
Maybe invest in some Gorilla Guard (http://www.gorilla-auto.com/gorilla.guard.locks) lock nuts

Aren't all the lock keys the same? That's why I never bothered with them... that and 1 set corroded on my VL (after lock key broke!) and I had to chip it off with a mallet and chisel! My current wheel nuts are recessed and need an extension piece to get at them - plus they're only 19s, so hopefully of no/less value to average crook.

Our are exactly the same. They are a hex nut. We still have the lock nuts, but with a decent hit and a hammer and a screwdriver, rims come off very easy.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I have Gorilla lock nuts on my XR8, but normal ones on the VRX. I would get Gorillas for your wheel. Find them cheaper on Ebay.

I have a friend who runs them on his RX8 and he reckons that they take a while to warm up so just beware a bit.

Yeah I have already been told that. Got them also for their wear factor. But we also dont intend on doing and racing with them so it should be ok.
