If you put on a standard shift knob to a Auto would it just require you to push downwards on the stick to release it.
I wanted to put one of these on

But wanted to know if the boss would fit the stick properly.

It don't work that way mate, the manual knobs are bolt ons, the auto ones is hollow to allow for a small rod to release the shift locks.

hahaha.. umm.. well if you put that knob on it hard enough to always have that putton down, you could use it as a tip shift all the time right? :cool:

You could always do what fooya did he taped down the thingy..
you could put an auto NOB on it with a manual BOOT?? try that mate the only way is by testing it!! you can be the first
If you change quick enough no one will know its an auto ;) :thumbsup:

Allpaw there are auto knobs you can get that look exactly like manual ones where you can push down to change gear. That way u can use a manual boot and no one will suspect you have an auto, well except by your instrament cluster :P
